The Famous Five - Five Go Adventuring Again

by Enid Blyton

Brief summary of the book:

'The Famous Five' is Enid Blyton's most popular series based on the characters Julian, Dick and Anne, George and Timmy the dog. The second book, Five Go Adventuring Again was written in 1943.

When Julian, Dick and Anne return to Kirrin Cottage for the Christmas holidays, they are happy to see their cousin George (Georgina) and Timmy the dog, who is still his usual playful self.

But to their disappointment, they have to have a Tutor to catch up on school work. Then their Uncles office is robbed, and important papers were stolen! The Five think they now who the culprit is but they need proof!

My favourite character and why:

I enjoyed reading about Timmy the dog again, because he always knows who the culprit of a wrongdoing is. That's one smart dog!

Lessons from the book:

My star rating and recommendations:

Never judge a book by its cover, it may get you into a sticky situation!

Four and a half stars out of 5!

I would recommend this book for people who like humourous mystery stories.
